Student Affairs Professionals' Vision Songs

I recently completed one of my favorite ice-breaking activities with all of the professional staff members under my umbrella.  I asked everyone to send me the title/artist of a song which embodies both their personal and professional vision.  During our retreat, we listened to all of the songs and attempted to identify who picked each song.  Everyone then explained why they chose their song and thus explained their personal and professional visions.  I burned all of the songs onto cds for everyone to take home to remember the retreat. 

We had a very interesting mix of songs.  This is what they chose:
